Forest Side is an attractive, secluded Victorian hotel nestled within a wooded estate in the Lake District, near Wordsworth's picturesque Grasmere village. Home to wild deer, red squirrels, and a badger sett, this traditional stately home, built by the Earl of Lonsdale, reflects the style and seclusion of its era. The hotel boasts magnificent views and a unique, elegant interior. The attentive staff strives to create a relaxing and de-stressing experience. Guests can enjoy leisurely walks around the grounds. Situated on the lower slopes of Butter Crag, the hotel is a short stroll down a private driveway from Grasmere Village, a place that inspired Wordsworth.
