+6Property Overview
Set in the quaint town of Hatherleigh and surrounded by the stunning Devonshire countryside. This thatched roof, historic coaching inn is just 10 minutes' drive from Okehampton and offers free Wi-Fi, free parking, contemporary accommodation and rustic, modern dining. One of the oldest pubs in the country and located in the smallest town in Devon, the George Hotel cuts an impressive figure, with its striking thatched roof, in the heart of Hatherleigh. Originally built in 1450 and completely revamped and refurbished in 2010, this historic inn seamlessly combines contemporary style and charisma with distinctive period features. Exposed oak beams and open log fires perfectly compliment modern soft furnishings and warm décor to create relaxed and inviting accommodation and dining experience.
